I have used the aluminium electric heater in my bedroom while waiting for my electrician to install it in my bathroom. I noticed an instant release of heat for a small heater however the brackets doesn’t fit at the back of the heater, but I’ve contacted the customer service after sale service (Josh) and I was impressed with a swift response. I am now awaiting for it to arrived.

Is this unit quiet? I ask because it will be replacing a standard dimplex convection heater in a bedroom which clicks around the set temperature as it switches off and on and even this disturbs my son's sleep.

No, heater is completely silent due to the internal metal elements they contract and expand due to the heat and a noise may be heard.

Hi, I've misplaced the remote control for this heater. How can I get codes for universal remote or a replacement?

The LCD display is attached to the panel heater. This model does not have a remote control.

I have purchased an electric panel wall heater. I want to be able to set it so that it comes on and off throughout the day and night maintaining a room temperature of 18c even with a window slightly open. You suggested pressing M u t the sunshine symbol appears which I have done and set at 18 but it is still not coming on and off during the day and night maintaining this temperature. Please advise.

The P3 timer program is required for your personal daily heating requirements but you have to tell the heater every hour if you require heat or not. Use the Anti-Frost mode if you do not want any heat. It will only work if all 24 hours in the week are programmed.

Hi, I’ve had a mylex electric radiator fitted and cannot understand how to set the p3 timer. Manual is not very clear. Can you help please? Regards Helen

If you are using the 24/7 timer then you need to set the clock first with the correct time. Press M until P3 appears then press the tick. Then press M and choose the heat mode for each hour comfort, eco or anti-frost this will then only come on if the temperature drops to 7c. Then press + or - so that every hour in each day is completed. The P3 program will then work to your daily requirements.

We would recommend the Ceramic as they have an internal ceramic core. Please measure your room size so that you purchase enough power to heat your room.

My electrician has told me i need an IP44 for a bathroom. Is this correct?

These heaters are IP24 rated, meaning they’re protected against splashing water and safe for bathroom installation. We recommend these heaters are only installed in your bathroom by a qualified electrician. So 0.60m from a water source as per instruction manual

I have recently purchased (via Amazon) a Mylek Panel heater with digital programmer. ASIN B081RPG85X. I have carefully followed the settings instructions but whatever setting I have it on (including continuous operation) after a time it switches off with EC flashing. Help please!

When the heater gets to your chosen temperature it will show EC flashing if the temperature is reduced or increased the flashing will stop until your desired temperature is reached.

Hi, I have set up a programme but I’m continually getting E3 as a code that prevents it coming on when it’s timed to. Why is this?

The E3 shows when the open window detection is on so please press the up or down to program onto the Comfort or Eco mode. This will turn of the open window mode.

Ive put the heater in a garden room but it keeps switching off (E3 flashing) when still well below the set temperature. There are no windows open but the open window function shows "on". Does this indicate a problem (it is set to 14degrees and the in room thermostat is showing 10)

The E3 shows when a door or windows is open. This function can be changed by pressing the + or - to show off. The E3 will then disappear.
