Infrared heaters

Infrared heaters are excellent outdoor heaters as they use radiant heat to direct their heat into objects such as seats, clothing and even our skin rather than trying to fruitlessly heat the air to increase the overall ambient temperature through convection heat. It is very similar to how we feel much warmer in the sunlight rather than the shade since the light is directly absorbed into our clothes and skin to warm us. This means that since Infrared heaters are radiant heat directly into surrounding objects, warmth isn’t simply absorbed into the air which makes them ideal for combating outside elements.

Quartz Tube Heating Element

Quartz heating elements use a combination of infrared heat paired with a quartz tube. The heating element is enclosed in a quartz tube which is designed not only to protect the heating element but stop any convection heat from escaping. The heating elements build up heat getting very hot, then heating the quartz tube. Once the tube reaches an appropriate temperature it begins to emit heat, the wavelength produced by this process is often regarded as the most ideal for the human body. Making outdoor heaters of this type perfect for customer-orientated areas such as outdoor seating areas in restaurants or beer gardens.

Golden Tube Heating Element

These are Halogen heaters with a gold layer on the heating element. The purpose of this layer is to increase heat intensity. This means that they can give off a large amount of heat and that the heat emitted is not affected or lost due to wind. Golden Tube heaters also give off quite a large amount of light while heating. Making them perfect as a source of both heat and light in private gardens and public areas., especially those that tend to catch a lot of wind.
