Ordered the slimline wall heater 500W. Heater arrived promptly and fitted in downstairs toilet which it is perfect for. Easy to fit and control haven’t bothered with programming just leave on seems to maintain temperature well.

I want to control this using a smart plug. Can it be made to come on with the power instead of going into standby and needing the button on top to be pressed?

No, this is not suitable to be used with a smart plug. The heater comes with a 24/7 timer.

Do the P1/P2 modes reselected if the panel is set to standby mode?

It will only work on the programs if they are selected. The time and day would need to be set first.

I want to put this in my bathroom but want to understand the fitting method. How long is the cable and does it come with a plug ? Does it need to be connected into the mains supply or can I simply run cable with plus to an adjacent room with socket? Thanks

The heater comes supplier with a 3-pin plug and is IP24 rated and suitable for a bathroom and can be installed in a bathroom in the correct zone. Please check with a qualified tradesperson before installation as it would need to be spurred in. The cable lead is approximately 1.3m.

Additional heat for a bedroom 9.2 square meters and another bedroom 5.2 square meters .what size panel heaters do I require

The Mylek Ultra Slim Heaters cover approximately the room areas below

500W: Coverage: 5-7.5m2

1KW: Coverage: 10-15m2

1.2Kw : Coverage 18m2

1.5KW: Coverage 15m2-20m2

2KW: Coverage 20m2-25m2

So for the larger bedroom, we would recommend the 1kw, and for the smaller bedroom the 500w.
Please check that the heaters fit into the space available before your purchase.

Can I mount this heater on a wood paneled wall?

It would need to be securely mounted to fire-retardant materials.

I have the radiator mounted on the end of a kitchen island and the heat from it is affecting the worktop that is above it. Is there a Radiator Air Flow Adapter Heat Diverter? I have found such things for other radiators.

No. A 30cm (300mm) clearance is required on all sides.

Do you have any models that can be controlled by external switching of the power, or by a command from Home Assistant or similar?

No. Our heaters have a 24/7 timer. They are not suitable to be used with an external timer.

Does this model have a ceramic core / heating element?

They have a metal front with an aluminum heating element.

Do you have to use the timer or can you simply turn on or off as and when required at the mains switch?

The heater can be used manually if you do not want to use the 24/7 timer

No, it is not suitable to be painted.

What’s the safety distance you have to leave at the front of radiator to cover

No, as you require a 30cm clearance to all sides so that the air will circulate. It may overheat with a radiator cover that is too close and not fire retardant.

Can they be wired directly into a socket instead of being plugged in?

You can wire them into a spur if required.

A clearance to all sides is 30cm (300mm) including above and below the heater is required.

Could you please veryfy the running costs of a 2kw unit at 12p per surely this should be 24p per hour

The Lot 20 2kw Heater costs approximately 12p to run per hour based with your energy provider charging you 12p per kilowatt-hour. The accurate thermostat and energy-efficient technology reduce the cost to run the heater. We also have an hourly costings for each kilowatt heater.

How do you confirm the times on and off on program 3

The P3 program must be prpgrammed for every hour of every day over the full week. Please follow the instructions from page 10 & 11 of the instruction manual linked below

I have a wall mounted heater, model MYH03, positioned below a window. At the bottom of the window is a window sill that sticks out of the wall, into the room by 3 cm. The heater is mounted on wall brackets. The back of the grill of the radiator is 3 cm away from the wall. The front of the grill is 6.5 cm from the wall. The back of the grill is 9 cm below the sill. The front of the grill is 7 cm below the sill. Bearing in mind that the window sill only sticks into the room by 3 cm, is this radiator safely

Yes, this must be installed as instructions horizontally not vertically.

My customer is out in a farm and experiences black outs. Does these heaters have a memory or would they have to reset all the on & off times each time. thank you

The day & time would need to be set first and then the pre-set P1 or P2 programs can be used or P3 program can be programmed 24/7 to your requirements in the Comfort , Eco or Anti-Frost mode.

I use this panel heater at our bedroom. But it makes sounds like plosives all night. Is it safe to keep using? and what can I do to stop the sounds.

The heater is not normally very noisy. The control panel will make bleeping noises when you use it.

The heating elements may make a slight noise when coming on as the element expands and then will contract when it it cooles down when switched of.

How much space is required in front of the heater. The only available space is behind a fully glazed door which is only 15cm from the wall when fully open.

The minimum distance required is 30cm (300mm) on all sides.
