I bought this for an unheated garden room to keep the temperature from falling below 6 degrees at night as I have various plants that are not hardy. This is just what I needed. I set it up once and now it turns itself on and off when it needs to. I do only switch it on at night but you could just leave it on all the time. Excellent - well worth purchasing.

Feels excellently made. Using it on the lowest setting for a damp wall, and it's solved the problem beautifully, and given us a nice bit of background heat for the rest of the room, so very pleased.

The heater itself seems very good, looks stylish and I am happy with it. The first one delivered didnt work at all so that was exchanged and the service was very good. The second heater works but the remote does not and I tried the remote from the first heater before it was returned to confirm that its a fault in the heater and not the remote itself. I didnt report this as I just wanted a heater and was not to bothered with the remote. A little apprehensive about how long it will last

Would it be suitable for underneath bathroom sink units where the space from the floor is 350 mm meaning of only 150 mm to the underside of the units.
The height of the 1kw is 167mm (16.7cm) and the 1.5kw is 200mm (20cm).
The Timer “on” function does not work. Instructions states press timer button whilst power off. Buttons don’t work if power off. If power on the timer only works as “off” timer.
The countdown timer works in the on position then press the clock timer button once and then press up or down for the correct hours required. The display will flash and show the chosen time then leave so the timer can then count backwards.
If you require the start up timer press the clock timer button twice and the press up or down for the hours. This will then show your start up time on the display.

No, this is not suitable to be used with a smart plug.
I have seen this question a few times re the start up time. Pressing the timer button twice does not work, it merely turns it on so you can set the time it stays on but if you press it twice it just turns it on and off again. I have tried pressing it quickly, slowly and off as answered above but none of it works.
The shut off timer works by pressing the timer button once & the timer display will flash. Then use the up or down button for chosen time. The chosen time will flash & once the display stops flashing the timer is set. This will count down until shut off.

We would not recommend to be used under your bench seat. The Baseboard Heater will not damage your skirting board.

Yes, the unit would need to point at the unit to work correctly. The remote control would operate both units in one room so if they had separate settings it could conflict we would not recommend.

Please press the setting button once to activate the power selection mode, the unit will bleep and Power Level Indicator will flash to display the current power level. Then use the Up and Down buttons to cycle through the power settings. When the desired power level is displayed, do not press any buttons on the display\n

We can't totally understand the logic of this heater. So I have set a temp that suits us in the low, med, high settings. So do I have to set low, med, high by going into 'settings' every time I switch on? It seems a very clunky procedure.
Yes, the setting button (3) will need to be pressed and then the power button (9) for low, medium or high after this stops flashing for the correct power level then the timer button (2) would need to be set by using the +or - button.

The loose cable can be disposed off. The Baseboard Heater is just floor standing.

Yes, The Heater must not be covered and requires a minimum 50mm safe area around the sides and with a minimum 1200mm above the product and also clear of obstructions and flammable materials.

The 1kw Baseboard Heater heats an area of approximately 10-15m2 and the 1.5kw will heat an area of 15-20m2. In a conservatory, a lot of heat can be lost via the glazed areas.

How do I turn on the start up time? I read in a previous question to turn off the display and then the time button can be pressed twice to set it. However when I turn off the display and press the timer button it beeps three times at me and nothing comes on the screen. Please could you advise how to set the start up timer.
Press the timer button twice to enter the start-up time set up. The display shows the start-up then use the up or down button to set your desired time. Once the display stops flashing your chosen temperature and time will show.
