Economic Digital Thermostat and Insulation

Catering urns are a fantastic alternative to regular kettles. Not only because their larger capacity allows you to supply a large number of beverages in a short time, they are more economical to run. Catering urns work by maintaining water temperatures to near boiling throughout the whole day. The built-in thermostat detects when the temperature of the contents has dropped below the desired temperature causing the unit to power back on in order to raise the temperature again. This takes less energy than repeatedly boiling a kettle.

Thanks to the energy-saving insulated design, our catering urns also help the water retain its temperature. This means it needs to power up less frequently in order to re-heat even when compared to other traditional catering urns.  

Unparalleled Control Over Urn Temperature

The digital controls and thermostat give you more control over the temperature, which makes this urn perfect for making drinks such as mulled wine. You can lower the temperature down to 60° in order to simmer liquids, this can then be altered in 5° increments back up to boiling.

Durable and Hygienic design

Made with hardened stainless steel this urn is incredibly sturdy, meaning the body of the urn and the lid can cope in even the busiest areas. The drip tray will catch any spills to help keep the surrounding area clean and the smooth finish makes the unit easy to wipe down and keep clean.

Cool-Touch Handles and Boil Dry Protection

Designed with cool-touch handles, you can rest easy that you won’t get any nasty burns while removing the lid to refill or locking the lid back in place. Our MYLEK urns also have a boil dry protection feature, which means if an urn is accidentally switched on with no water in the tank, it will auto-reset in order to avoid damage to the unit.
