Obviously, with any power tool safety can be a concern, and we would always advise people to handle it with care, but there are a number of safety features with this trimmer that make it one of the safest on the market. Firstly, it has a triple lock safety switch, which requires you to hold 3 switches down to turn the machine on and two to operate it, so it’s impossible to turn it on by mistake.

Tips for using your hedge trimmer

5. After use, remove the battery and carefully wipe the blade clean of leaves and particles before storing it away (keep gloves on). Replace the blade cover before storing away.
